Atlanta's indefatigable Dad's Garage Theatre Company performs 52 weeks a year, with Improv nights from Thursday to Sunday (except Thanksgiving and Christmas Days) and innumerable shows. There is an annual season of some five productions (available as a subscription) which continues the company's innovative policy of bringing new work to its two theatre spaces in Inman Park near Little 5 Points.

The permanent collection at Atlanta's High Museum of Art contains significant holdings of 19th- and 20th-century American art, and a downtown annex has an impressive folk art collection. With over 2500 works, the photography collection is the feather in the museum's hat.
